When I purchased my home in 2021, it was dressed in the original cedar siding — and it was forty years old. When animals started chewing through my walls I knew it was time to replace it. As a single woman and first time homeowner, the estimates I was given were often marked up significantly and I felt confused and nervous about the entire process. I had spoken with Steve the year prior when I was under contract, and his warm and honest demeanor was immediately disarming. When I hit him up a year later, he not only was willing to stop by and look at things again, but spent a lot of time explaning every detail to me in a way that didn’t feel patronizing at all.Steve worked to give me the best possible price on my renovation, and he helped me decide on the financing that was most honoring for me. From the moment the project began, Paul was kind, responsive, and beyond helpful when any issues came up. Their team was fast, efficient, and respectful–and they did an amazing job. It has been fourteen months since my home got a facelift, and in that time we’ve had three major hailstorms and countless snowstorms and this siding doesn’t even have so much as a chip on it. I can not recommend Bellweather enough.

We installed a new Sierra Pacific door and 3 Pelle windows in our Lennar house in the northend area. The process took around 3 months and we’re super pleased with the quality and care towards making our vision into a beautiful reality. The design process was super smooth and gave us a lot of ideas to work with while considering the structural integrity and resell value. The actual work days where the house was in a mess was less than 6 days, but scheduling and holidays was a factor in making sure everything was fully addressed. We’re 100% working with Josh and Tanisha (and their great contractors) again on future projects. I think their team enjoys unique projects like cutting wider openings for walls and solving harder problems than just replacing siding and installing windows. Extremely skilled professionals.

I had a great experience with Bellwether for replacing all the siding on my home in November 2023. It was a major project, that came together beautifully! I’m so pleased with the final product, the excellent service I received, the attention to detail and getting the project done right on schedule. I especially appreciated Paul as my project manager-he was SO responsive anytime I texted him a question. There were a couple of minor hiccups in the process, but Paul addressed them very quickly, and to my complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company for replacing siding.

Had all of our siding replaced by Bellwether with James Hardie siding. They finished off the job by sealing and painting all eaves and trim work not replaced. Final product looks great. They had a few items to come back and complete and did so quickly and to our satisfaction. Great pricing, great communication. Would have given 5 starts but the installation crew did not do a good job of cleaning up everyday after they finished work. There was a dumpster literally in the driveway but our yard surrounding the house was littered with food and drink containers. That stated, Happy customers and would recommend.

We live in Steamboat. We tried and tried to find a local contractor to re-insulate, instal new windows, and re-side our 120 year old mountain home. Couldn’t get anyone locally to even return a phone call. My wife reached out to Bellwether and three days later we were meeting with their rep and planning our project. Within a month our remodel began. We were amazed by how quick, professional, and skilled the crews were. They tore off the old siding and insulation and removed the old windows. Four weeks later our home was complete; new windows, insulation and siding. And we couldn’t happier. What was a 120 year old cold, drafty house is now a tight, beautiful comfortable home. Bellwether did an amazing job of upgrading our home for the extreme demands of mountain living!! Bellwether was phenomenal. Cash came to the house in May after a large hail storm that damaged the vinyl on multiple sides. He spent over an hour talking with me, answering questions, and reviewing options. I said I didn’t want a big beige house, and wanted to find a new, modernized aesthetic. He took my elementary ideas and ran with them, giving me a bid and first rendering in only a few days. We could tell from the visual rendering that it would be a stand-out house! Then it was about the process of transformation. The crews worked diligently even in 90 degree weather, were respectful, and cleaned each day. Their work was precise and exhibited true craftsmanship. Everyone we worked with cared about what their efforts were bringing in total. The text thread for the PM and the crew lead were always responded to. Even in the walk-throughs, they listened to any concerns I had and I could tell the whole team was pleased with the final product. The house is beautiful and with the upgrade to James Hardie, I think it will remain as such for many, many years. My neighbors loved watching the process with me.

Bellweather was great to work with from sales team, site manager and installation crew. They showed up on time and did an excellent job. The crew was very nice and respectful and the workmanship is outstanding. When the project was completed, the crew walked the site with us to make sure everything was satisfactory, then, the site manager walked the project with us and went over every inch of caulk, piece of flashing and board. It was installed by James Hardy Board trained people who knew what they were doing. We highly recommend this product installed by this company.

Bellwether was a delight to work with starting with Cash Stricker. One of the original owners, actually has installed the Hardie Board Product. He could answer all my questions and provided an accurate, easy to understand estimate. The installers, Mario and Heberto worked with care and patience like they were working on their own home. All building codes for building wrap, rafter framing and flashing designs were followed ( I asked lots of questions during the renovation). The Painters and Gutter Crews were equally as Caring and Professional. All of the office staff I worked were equally friendly and caring. Bellwether was like working with family.All of the materials were delivered on time and as scheduled. The RedBox trash hopper with attached outhouses was plenty big enough for the old siding, fascia and soffit boards. A tarp was used to catch all of the material as it was being removed from the house and then moved to the trash hopper. The site was cleaned, swept and picked-up every day.The results of the Hardie Board installation were stunning. The Rich Expresso siding with Arctic White trim makes my house built in 1967, look brand new and totally transformed. Several neighbors out for their daily walks have stopped and stated how nice it looks. A new project is being started down the street based on the great looks of our house.I could not be happier about my Hardie Board renovation and the Bellwether Company. I would recommend Bellwether without question. I was so proud of the work, that I welcomed Frank the photographer here today for a photo and video shoot. I guess that says it all.

Overall, Bellwether is priced in the middle of the pack, they have quality workmanship and are incredibly fast. My siding was removed and replaced and painted in four days (compared to a neighbor’s siding, where the other company took several weeks). It looks great! I had some issues with disorganized or missed communication, but after the project the owner sat down with me to discuss lessons learned so he could take that feedback forward. To me, that speaks to the companies dedication to quality.

Bellwether replaced our 100 year old shingle siding with James Hardy, paying great attention to the detail of our home. From our sales person, Tom, to our installer, Alejandro, the communication and professionalism was top notch. Install went well even with weather delays. Painting was the final phase of the project and communication broke down a bit as Bellwether contracts out for their paint jobs. However, when mistakes were made, Bellwether was quick to address and fix them.If you have a siding job and want it done to the highest level, hire this company!

When we began the vendor evaluation process for the complete residing of our 1950’s MCM home, we had a very particular idea of what we were hoping to achieve as an outcome.After sitting on the receiving end of multi-hour, in home sales presentations, including hard line negotiating and closing tactics from from 4-5 other vendors, we had all but given up on finding a contractor to partner with.Cash arrived at our first consultation and, (gasp) asked questions and listened to what we had in mind, evaluated our budget, and presented creative solutions from their supplier library that would get us as close to our ideal while respecting our overall budget. It was a breath of fresh air and welcome respite from the other vendors we had been in discussions with and it was clear that this was the team for us.From the contracting window to the install date, the team is prompt, professional, and communicates clearly throughout the process and we felt well informed of what to expect and what they were expecting of us.Upon the handoff from Cash on the sales side to Paul on the installation side, we couldn’t have been more pleased. With respect to our borderline obsessive compulsion with what we wanted, Paul was quick to acknowledge fault, take ownership, and have his detail team quickly address the areas of concern.Finally, post install the team has made us feel well respected and valued. Overall, this was incredible and painless project. Keith worked with us to get our vision for the new siding and windows and walked us through the plan and process. Vicente was an excellent project manager, and we were so happy with the crew. Siding installation was quick, and I really appreciated how the crew cleaned up at the end of each day. Alex and his team were fantastic with the paint; Oscar’s gutter installation was stunningly quick; Rigoberto’s work finishing the punch list items brought it all together.
