I had the opportunity to work with Bellwether in the Summer & Fall of 2025. (It is my very own fault that my review is nearly five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes late in posting!) Nick rolled up to my house on a hot June day for our initial meeting. Prior to this meeting, I had met with two other companies (who will remain nameless) who had presented me with good, better, best options for a siding project so I had some general figures in mind. I was not entirely sure this was a project I could even take on, if I was being honest, and I told Nick that, and he held space for it. One thing that is really notable about Bellwether is that they only offer the best option, and because it is the best option, it's a product that everyone who works for them backs and supports and THAT is something I get down with. Anyway, Nick and I sat in that hot summer sun for nearly five hours (yes, you read that correctly) sometimes in silence, analyzing every option on this green Earth. You see, I have a very long house and I wasn't yet sure if I wanted to replace the siding on the whole thing or maybe do half of it. Did I need new windows? I knew at least three...but then are all the rest going to look old and crusty next to the new ones? Probably. How about new soffit from where the squirrels chewed through? There was a lot to discuss and Nick was there through it all. At one point we even took a couple calls with Josh & Tanisha who were available to answer questions on the spot as well. At no point did I feel pressure in this process, but it is important to me to convey how much belief this company (and now me) have in this product and the craftpeopleship behind it.
Moving into production, I was deeply appreciative of how flexible the team was with working around both my work schedule and the already existing schedule of the tenants in my rental, which is the south end of my home. I was trying to accomplish this project while not disturbing or uprooting them, which was an added challenge that Bellwether had to navigate throughout the process. Dennis and Dylan were communicative with the ordering, delivery, and installation process, as well as when issues arose (as they do in any construction process) they were quick to problem-solve with me on the phone when I couldn't physically be on site. The James Hardie siding is such a CLEAN look. Pair that with the framing of the windows and edges of your house and all that matching the soffit, facia, and gutters--I mean, chef's kiss! The caulking also all matches the color of what is being caulked. It's the details for me! I loved how the entire crew wore Bellwether swag while working each and every day! The team was very thorough with clean up each day of construction as well. My project involved 17 windows total, five of which weren't included in the initial order and delivery, and Bellwether was quick to remedy this and took accountability for the misstep. Due to my next tenant, those windows had a later install date, and the crew came to replace all the framing again after the new windows were put in, after having already done this once. I had expected the previous new framing to be reused and was glad to see and know it was all replaced and brand new! Bellwether's honesty, reliability, and integrity throughout my experience is what makes them stand out in this industry and why I would recommend them to anyone seeking the same service.
I want to also acknowledge Luis who put many final touches on my windows in the Fall, which really made them pop. His dedication to making it right and finishing the job out is much appreciated! And a S/O to Mason who swung by to check out the work, get to know me, and spread some positive Bellwether vibes. So many neighbors have told me they have NEVER noticed my very cute 91-year-old house before this facelift, but look-at-her-now-look-at-her-now-she's-gettin'-paper(cuter).
Thanks s'much Bellwether!! Up next--doors! I need em, you got em! I'll hit ya up!
